While I appreciate the ease of chic monochromatic separates, I’m absolutely ecstatic for spring’s return to maximalism. In my eyes, Gucci and the Italian fashion house’s Creative Director, Michele Alessandro, are responsible for leading the charge for this more-is-more mentality. By mixing bold stripes with florals, lace and exotic skins and revitalizing heritage accessories with a new school twist, the new Gucci girl is everything I want to be and more.
