#WeddingWednesday: Save the Dates with Minted

I’m so excited to kick off my #WeddingWednesday series here on a-listed, where I’ll be sharing all of my planning tips, inspiration and behind-the-scenes photos leading up to the big day. Chris and I got engaged in December and wanted to leisurely plan our wedding over the next year for a New Year’s Eve celebration. But as we all know, life doesn’t always go as planned.

We started looking at venues in January, and quickly learned that lots of them were already booked up for 2017. When we walked into the space we’re going to get married in (more details on the venue to come!), I just knew it was the one. They were booked solid for the fall, but they had August 19th available. We decided to just jump right into planning and go for it. Eek!

Of course, that meant I needed to get our Save the Dates out the door asap, so I teamed up with Minted to get the job done. Chris and I are so excited to be getting married in New York where our story began, so it only made sense to make a nod to the city on our Save the Dates. I chose this design in the blue color scheme with the TripleThick paper option. Originally, the windows of the skyline were silver foil, but I had them switched to be gold foil instead (obviously…).

No outgoing mail is complete without chic packaging, so I chose kraft paper envelopes with striped liners, wrap around address labels and personalized stamps with the date of our wedding on them to finish the cards. The best part of the entire process was that Minted prints your guests’ addresses right on the envelope. You just upload your Excel spreadsheet and voila!

A special thank you to Minted for partnering on this post. As always, thank you for supporting all a-listed partnerships!
