When it comes to getting ready for work each morning, I tend to find an outfit formula I like and stick to it for weeks at a time. At the moment I’m hung up on grabbing a turtleneck, usually in grey or black, and pairing it with a pencil or a-line skirt. Just add a coat, tights and, of course, a great pair of heels. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I first started to develop a go-to outfit of my own when I noticed that one of my favorite street style stars and stylist to Kim Kardashian, Christine Centenera, is pretty much always in some iteration of the same look—pencil skirt, chic top and booties.
