Although I’m not looking to click my heels and flee from Kansas, I am making a nod to Dorothy in these studded, crimson pumps. The combination of mint green and red particularly tickles my fancy, so I paired this peplum skirt with a laid back tee. I’m all about mixing dressy and more casual pieces for unexpected looks this fall – embellished pencil skirts with oversize knits, tuxedo pants with vintage tees, brocade dresses with sleek sneakers. I guess I didn’t want to do my girl D wrong by being completely devoid of glitter, so that’s where the sparkly shades came into play!
