For me, August is an inner struggle between soaking up the last days of summer and anticipating fall and all that the crisp air entails. Lamenting the final sunsets of summer and waiting for the cozy, crisp days ahead – and of course pondering how to dress for each scenario. In the interest of relaxing and rebooting, I am visiting with one of my best gal pals in Tampa for the weekend. Yesterday for a laid back travel look, I wore a floral dress, my old faithful denim vest and navy sneakers. I already swiped these shoes in white and loved them so much that I went back for more. They are going to make great commuter kicks for the fall. I wonder if I’ll ever stop making everything about the pending fall?
