The bitter cold continues in New York, but a miraculous thing happened this past Sunday. After a Saturday filled with snow and freezing rain (as evidenced here), temperatures rose to a balmy 40 degrees. For brunch, I risked it all and went sans tights for the first time in what seems like a decade. I bundled up in a menswear inspired coat and like-hued fur scarf and nearly slipped on dirty piles of snow more than once. But, as they say — the show must go on.
